New album: Streets Gone Crazy

Hello, I’m Day by Day life, I was young growing up in the ghetto living with my single mom, sister, and grandmother thinking about fast dollars. In and out of trouble. Growing up in the ghetto, I grew up among people that have a small number of ‘legit’ channels of information. I accept them, and everyone around me accepts them and you don’t add new channels. I trust the voices on the radio, the voices of my friends, and I trust the voices on the streets. And sometimes the lessons of those voices are written in blood and drugs, and sometimes they are written in respect, and sometimes they are written in love.

When growing up in the ghetto, I know what works in the ghetto, but outside of the ghetto is a different world that contradicts my experience. It requires strength, courage, and wisdom to leave and attempt to make that other world work for me. I have so much love for music even though I’m fatherless, I have to grind and hustle for money to push my music much further and the more I strive the more I become better in music, while building my music career I face challenges from people trying to push me down and I have to face those challenges by making a plan and not to give up on my music career.

During my experience in the ghetto I realized that hundreds of thousands of human lives and their health care are in their worst conditions due to hard drugs and as a result of this, I came up with an Inspiration of writing a song that contains a stream of consciousness about drug use that would change the role of drugs in rap music speaks openly about how drugs feel and how you die is an understatement. Its honesty or raw effects of a prisoner locked behind bars with Xanax has influenced some of the biggest hip-hop tracks of the past decade. For better or worse, it appeals to a whole generation of hip-hop artists who have used weed, leaned on it, and been inspired to share their experiences.

My ambition is to affect people positively and get them out of the ghetto with my music and with your help we can eliminate the threat of drug abuse. With your support, we can keep our oceans clean, beautiful, and safe for the billions of life in them. With your donations, we can ensure we leave a cleaner, greener earth for the future. Please donate and share. Thank you.
